This is actually a question going out to my readers. Hope you don't mind, and its not the normal thing I do but someone else must of come across this at some point. I have a (obviously as my blog goes on about it) Mac, and for my partner i'm giving her have my old Laptop with WinXP on it. One of the idea's behind this move was so that when I was away we can chat via voice/video. I know Skype is one option, but that means more usernames, accounts and software to load on both machines, what I was wondering/hoping for was that it is possible with a Jabber account (i.e. Google/gmail) that I can use iChat my end and an IM client her end??? Failing that are there other alternatives that I have? Someone else has surely got/had this issue?
