Over the years I've stressed the need to move away from (and develop for) IE6 to my workplace, colleagues, friends and generally anyone within earshot. Well Microsoft are now joining in with "Moving the world off Internet Explorer 6 ... it's time to say goodbye". Im not a religious person but can we please have an amen!
Its worth checking out the site as there are some interesting usage stats broken down by country but the key fact is that in Feb 2011 12% of the world was on IE6 and thats down 9% from last year!
