Google Messenger

moik78.com is reporting that computer security users may have found reason to believe that Google are creating an Instant Messenger Client. Though the site has no sources of where this came from (that i can see), it goes on to say that they have found a references in the code to a new protocol "google_im://". They also found "googlemail://" which therefore might suggest that the protocol of electronic mail of Google could be intimately integrated with the one of IM.
This for now though only gets added to the speculation list of what Google are planning. Included on that list is also the Google Browser and of course the Google OS.

UPDATE: Moises from Moik78.com has left a comment explaining the reason for no source links is that they were in spanish. But has been kind enough to pass on some helpful links, thank you.
