Wikipedia Bookmarklet

Wikipedia is just a great online resource that personally i always forget about. Usually i go to Google and type define:whatever

Anyway as im using it a lot at the moment i've created a bookmarklet for Firefox. Just drag the link below to your toolbar links

WikiPedia

I wish i could take credit for this but this code is just modified from Peter Freitag bookmarklets for CFDocs.org

Or, you could have added the wikipedia search engine extension to firefox:

http://mycroft.mozdev.org/quick/wikipedia.html

which adds wikipedia search to the google searchbox ;o)

I like to use the extension FastDic, I know it sounds funny but it allows you to search the meaning of a word in wikepeida, dictionary.com, answers.com etc. with just a click in combination with alt or ctrl or shift. You can set each of those keys for a different websites. I use alt+click for answers.com and ctrl+click for wikepedia. Also, you can choose to open the link either in a tab, new window or the sidebar.
I like it.
