Removed email subscribers

Due to a recent $£&*^*&^* spammer I seem to be getting hundreds of spam email address's in the Subscribe by Email table. Subsequently I have just had to delete everyone from the table. I think there were only a handful of actual people in there but I didnt want to take any chances as my emails server just took a beating this morning with undeliverable mail.
