I was at the petrol station early this morning (so early that it was still dark outside!) when I saw this! Now forgive me if I am wrong but surely this is one of those times when the two products do not complement each other at all?
I recently drove through Germany and most petrol stations advertised and sold beer.
We stopped off at one place about 4am and the guy would works behind the counter came outside and stood on the forecourt to have a cigarette whilst we got petrol!
Yup, that is definitely a common thing here in the states.
I can remember watching someone buy beer and then dump it in a soda fountain cup before heading off in there car sipping it through a straw like a Pepsi.
It's not like that in every state in the US. In Maryland, for example, you can only buy alcohol at a liquor store or a dining establishment with a liquor license. Many states have beer and wine at gas stations or grocery stores. In Utah, it doesn't even matter. Who ever heard of a dark beer that was 0.5% alcohol? Drink a pitcher of that and all you get is fat.
