Now that the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike has come to an end some of the shows are going back to the studios to finish of what they started in Autumn (Fall). To find out when you show is back check out http://community.tvguide.com/blog-entry/TVGuide-Editors-Blog/Ausiello-Report/Wga-Strike-Favorite/800032698
From what I can see my main disappointments are
Paramount have released the first teaser trailer of the upcoming Star Trek movie.
As with all teasers there isn't that much too see, and with a release date of Christmas 2008 its going to be a long wait!
iwouldntsteal.net is a site set up to counter act the propagandamessage from media company's that downloading a movie is that same as stealing a car, handbag, or even shoplifting.
The Greens|European Free Aliance is a European parliamentary group made up of Greens and representatives of stateless nations ("regionalists"). Their argument is that sharing movies online does not equate to stealing and instead of spending money on adapting laws why not look into viable legal alternatives!
It wasn't until this year that I saw all 6 days of 24 (working from home does allow some luxuries) and really got into this show.
Well if you have gotten past the crapiness that was the second half of day 6 check out the new exclusive trailer to day 7 starting Jan 13th http://www.24trailer.com/
All I'm saying is ... someone's not dead and can anyone say Die Hard 2?
Also don't forget http://www.geekthetube.com/ TV, Video Games, and Movies for Geeks
Raymond Camden, Scott Stroz, Scott Pinkston, and others have set up a new site; Geek the Tube just in time for the beginning of the '07 fall season. With the new domain means that the old forum has moved to http://www.geekthetube.com/forums/ but you should be able to still use your old login. If your favourite show isn't in the list then drop a message in the Everything Else forum.
Below is also a list of the fall line-up which me and the fiance watch, thought i'd post for reference:
- Two and a half men, September 24
- Heroes: September 24
- House: September 25th
- Greys Anatomy: September 25th
- Boston Legal: September 25
- Private Practice: September 26
- CSI:LV September 27
- Jericho: January 8th 2008
- 24 Day 7: January 13th 2008
- Lost: February 20th 2008
So what do you watch thats not on the list?
It was about a year ago there were reports that Futurama was coming back and now TV Squad has a post about recent news from Comic-con of the return.
Michael Dinowitz has mentioned on Rays blog about the online comics related to Heroes. So far there are 29 comics for you to go through (time to play catch up) which are available 2 formats, printable and interactive; which is done nicely in flash! These give you some further background information into the characters and relationships between them!
Check them out @ http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/novels/novels_library.shtml
I've found this on my travels around the web today though it doesn't seem available on the trailer site? yet
Yahoo has a new (HD) Transformer Movie trailer available.
I gotta say this looks like its going to be one of the big summer blockbusters for next year. The trailer looks good, though its still really a teaser one as you never get a real good look at the bots. Though you do see some of the main characters like Optimus Prime and Bumble bee in there!
I remember there being some leaked images of the teaser trailer around with some descriptions of what happened, but I didn't realise they had released it now:

The first live action version of this should be visually amazing since having Dreamworks behind it!
The Darth Side:Memoirs of a monster is Darth Vader Blog. So it really does look like everyone is doing it now.
Well worth a read through for any Star Wars fan, with posts like Parenting 101
"Okay, I admit it. I cut off the kid's hand. Everything went downhill after that.
Blast! Blast! Blast! I am such an idiot."
Fight against the empire in the epic battle of Endor or Assault and destroy the empire's Death Starat the battle of Yavin for free.
With a simple but highly addictive gameplay its well worth the 17mb download. I played the Battle of Endor in version 1.1 ages ago, and something remined me about it the other day so i had to hunt it down. Well its now on v2.1 and even more stable.
So i finally got around to seeing the new star wars film, Revenge of the Sith last night. WOW gotta say its been worth the hype. The only weak part, and even Ray mentioned this in his blog was the Padme and Anakin scenes. They came right from the daytime tv soap writers (and actors). Apart from that there are some other nice touches like make going onto A New Hope believable.
The fighters and look of all craft start looking like pre run-ups to the X-wing and the ships you are use to seeing in episode 4+. For those looking around there was even an Millenium Falcon in a shot at the begining. Generally through the whole film you start seeing more androids, robots, crafts that you are use to in the following three film. This leaves you just wanting to go off and watch the next three.
A big 8/10 from me.
Also CNN is reporting that the Sith can already be found online

WOW, just seen the teaser trailer for Revenge Of The Sith. If you havent had chance, check it out. Don't want to say too much here as i know people hate spoilers :o)
Well it looks like George Lucas has altered the ending to Return of the Jedi. There is a .mov available for you to have a look at. I don't want to say too much as it might be a spoiler.
As well as the ending he has again remastered the original 3 films, as well as added new scenes to the DVD release. If you want to sample some then check them out here it goes into some details but aslo has a lot of comparison picutres.

The Sun here has just released a small article online (its probably in the actual paper to) regarding the new name for Star Wars III - "Birth of an Empire". Also published at StarWars.com was the release date which is 19 May 2005.
