SitePal.com offers a the ability to have a speaking avatar on your site to help guide users through your etc. You can change all aspects of the avatar like hair, eye color, face. Either way well worth a play and a look into there showcase, Einstein quiz, and best of all the demo of Text to speach, which from what i can tell also translates in for you aswell!!
