They say the only way for your computer to be safe is to disconnect it from the web and shut it down. Though at a rough guess this isnt really a solution for the majority of us (though it does pop into my head when, when the second option is just throw the PC out of the window). So for the rest of us i thought i'd share this link. It's a free scan of your system and lets you know what you information you are giving out to the world. If anything it worth it for curiosity factor alone.
